Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Handy person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of properties, demonstrating good basic skills in all areas of property maintenance
Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on a range of property, both internal and external
- Be flexible to carryout both scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs
- Fulfil our services for our own properties and those of the general public
-Carryout duties throughout Somerset.
Requirements
- Good basic skills in painting and decorating, carpentry, electrics, plumbing, tiling etc.
- A full clean driving license is essential
- The ability to work on your own initiative and to timed schedules
- Good punctuality and communication skills are required as you will be dealing with the general public.
- A willingness to work within the geographical area of Somerset.
- A DBS check will be required
- The ability to work alone and generally unsupervised.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
Holidays
Monday to Friday
No weekends

This is a before and after picture of the kitchen in a property that we recently leased from the owner.
The property had been empty for a number of years and was in a terrible state.
We refurbished the whole property - including a new roof, new electrics, new plumbing, new kitchen etc.
It’s now a lovely family home and bringing in a regular and guaranteed monthly income for the owner - before it was very simply a deteriorating asset and a financial liability.
