With our in-house stair lift engineer and expert stair lift team we provide a first class service to give you all the options for your individual needs. And, as a not-for-profit social enterprise, we keep the costs down too.
After much thought, and with great reluctance, we have now had to close the Furniture Reuse side of HomeFirst Plus at the Old School. Covid-19 has impacted everyone and unfortunately furniture reuse is no longer sustainable. Every cloud has a silver lining though, and we are launching an exciting new project in the Sports Hall of the Old School. It is in the form of ‘Seed Pods’ with business support. In this time of rising unemployment, we wish to help individuals or partners from the local and wider community who have a hobby or interest they could turn into a small business idea. We will provide individual ‘pods’, around 3m x 3m in size, along with business and finance advice and support to enable them to start up and grow.
This will not only create a ‘business’ community within the old school site, but in return for low-cost support rates, each pod can create a community group for the local population in which to socialise and learn a new craft or business skill.
Construction is currently underway and a ‘show pod’ will be available for viewing from the beginning of December, with the intention to have ‘podders’ moving into their space at the beginning of 2021. Please contact us if you have a business idea or hobby that you would like to try out, and grow from a seedling to a full grown oak – firstname.lastname@example.org or 01935 319006.
If you are unsure if your idea is viable, please contact us and our Managing Director will discuss your idea with you and help you decide if it is a viable prospect for the future.
